Een gezondheidskundige advieswaarde (GAW) voor omgevingsblootstelling is een blootstellingswaarde waarvan verondersteld wordt dat er geen of verwaarloosbare negatieve effecten zijn op de gezondheid van mensen bij een langdurige blootstelling. Een GAW is dus een toetsingswaarde die gebaseerd is op wetenschappelijke toxicologische kennis. De diepte-analyse selectieprocedure staat beschreven in het Protocol ([res.cloudinary.com](https://res.cloudinary.com/deueykgii/image/upload/v1734617873/Protocol_selection_health_based_reference_values_2020_ov8jkb?_a=DATAg1AAZAA0)) en wordt toegepast voor het bepalen van de gezondheidskundige advieswaarde (GAW) voor een selectie van chemische stoffen waaraan de populatie frequent of langdurig wordt blootgesteld.
