Der Wärmespeicher hat eine Kapazität von 60 MWh, ein Volumen von ca. 2.600 m3 und daraus folgend einen Durchmesser von ca. 13m bei einer max. Höhe von ca. 23m. Der Großwärmespeicher und die Peripherieanlagen werden auf einem neu erworbenen Grundstück errichtet. Die Bauphase ist von März 2026 – August 2027 vorgesehen. Die notwendigen Leistungen hierfür werden in 6 Losen ausgeschrieben: Los 1 - Tiefbau, Los 2 - Pfahlgründung, Los 3 - Gründungsarbeiten, Los 4 - Wärmespeicher, Los 5 - Rohrbau/Anlagenbau und Los 6 - ELT und E-MSR.
