Rettungsweg)Im Rahmen der Baumaßnahme soll das ehemalige Progymnasium zum Kinderhort umgebaut werden. Das Gebäude wurde zuletzt 2012 als Schule genutzt. Die Gasheizung, die sich im Technikraum im Keller befand, soll durch eine Pelletsheizung ersetzt werden. Da der bisherige Heizungskeller zukünftig als Werkraum genutzt werden soll und der aktuell benutzte Kamin durch den notwendigen Einbau eines Aufzugs zukünftig nicht mehr genutzt werden kann, wird der Heizungsraum, so wie das Pelletlager in die westliche Gebäudeecke verlegt. Dort wird ein neuer Kamin an Stelle eines stillgelegten Bestandskamin errichtet und bis ins Untergeschoss erweitert.Zusätzlich wird das gesamte Heizungsnetz erneuert und energetisch optimiert, die bisherigen DIN-Stahlradiatoren werden durch Röhrenradiatoren ersetzt.
