This allows municipalities to invoice subscribers according to actual water consumption. The municipalities would now like to replace all meters with digital, remote meters. The collection of more correct "real time data" on water consumption will give new and updated insights. This can be used to scale capacity, detect water leaks quickly and establish new services for residents. Hamar and Ringsaker municipalities shall replace approx. 26,000 water meters over a period of 4-5 years. This amounts to a roll-out of approx. 5,000 water meters each year in total in the municipalities. Hamar municipality shall install approx. 10,500 water meters and Ringsaker municipality 15,500. Further details on the assignment are defined in the requirement specifications and other competition documents. The procurement of water meters is published in a separate procurement. ## CPV classification Repair and maintenance services Water meters Plumbing and sanitary works Plumbing and drain-laying work Water plumbing work Repair and maintenance services of water meters Source Tenders Electronic Daily (EU) · Notice 743977-2025 [View official notice](https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/743977-2025) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
