Časť: A.2 Vydrník (mimo) – Markušovce (mimo)". Účelom stavby je modernizácia železničnej infraštruktúry v úseku Vydrník (mimo) – Markušovce (mimo). Prestavba existujúcej železničnej dopravnej cesty za účelom zlepšenia jej technického vybavenia a použiteľnosti a to zabudovaním moderných a progresívnych prvkov a tým zlepšenia jej parametrov. Stavba musí spĺňať po realizácii požiadavky v zmysle zákona č. 513/2009 Z. z. o dráhach a o zmene a doplnení niektorých zákonov v znení neskorších predpisov, vyhlášky MDPT SR č. 350/2010 Z. z. o stavebnom a technickom poriadku dráh, platných STN noriem, EN noriem a platných predpisov ŽSR.
