Etelä-Karjalan hyvinvointialue (Ekhva) rakennuttaa uuden paloasemarakennuksen. Rakennuspaikka on Imatran kaupungissa Korvenkannan kaupunginosassa Piikadun varteen muodostettavalla tontilla. Kaavoitus on kesken eikä tonttia ole vielä muodostettu. Hankkeessa tullaan rakentamaan tiloja myös Kaakkois-Suomen poliisille.
