Beide Schulen sind zurzeit in angemieteten Räumen in der Innenstadt Husum untergebracht. In den Schulen werden rund 250 Auszubildende unterrichtet. Für beide Schulen soll in Husum ein Neubau als "Bildungszentrum für Berufe im Gesundheitswesen" errichtet werden. Die für den Neubau des Bildungszentrums erforderlichen Planungsleistungen der Technischen Ausrüstung, Anlagengruppen 1 bis 3, 7 und 8, sollen im Rahmen des hiesigen Verhandlungsverfahren mit Teilnahmewettbewerb vergeben werden. Die Vergabe der Leistungen der Objektplanung, Tragwerksplanung und der Fachplanung Technische Ausrüstung (Anlagengruppen 4 bis 6) erfolgen in parallelen Vergabeverfahren.
