The extension will be constructed using timber element construction. The new/extended staircases will be built as double-shell structures in exposed concrete. The two-story extension will include 12 classrooms (one of which will be equipped as a learning space), 7 group rooms, and two staff rooms with a terrace. At the heart of the school, a single-story atrium (open to the outside climate) is designed. Special Conditions: The renovation will take place predominantly during ongoing operations. A complete closure of the gymnasium is only planned for the duration of the timber construction work for the extension Electrical Systems: Lighting will be implemented with LED fixtures to provide energy-efficient illumination. Automatic lighting controls and shading systems will contribute to optimized operation. Photovoltaics: The entire roof surface will be covered with photovoltaic modules to maximize solar potential.
