Das Gebäude AB (Nutzfläche 5.287 qm) wurde in den Jahren 1962 bis 1964 für die damalige Ingenieurschule errichtet. Eine energetische Sanierung des Gebäudes AB hat bisher nur in Teilen stattgefunden. Die Klinkerfassade wurde über das Konjunkturpaket II 2009-2010 im Rahmen der Maßnahme "AC, AB Fassadensanierung" erneuert.
