Het te renoveren deel van de locatie met partieel sloop betreft het oude achterliggend bouwdeel van het bouwjaar 1980. Het gebouw aan de voorzijde met bouwjaar 2005 wordt afgestoten aan de gemeente, krijgt een functiewijziging en wordt geschikt gemaakt voor De Skâns. Dit project valt buiten de scope van deze opdracht. De aanwezige gymzalen blijven ongewijzigd en vallen dan ook buiten de scope van deze opgave. De totale omvang van het te renoveren deel na partiële sloop is ca. 5.500 m2 bvo. Het Voorlopig Ontwerp is afgerond en nu wordt er gewerkt aan een Definitief Ontwerp.
