Les prestations sont réglées par des prix forfaitaires. Le schéma départemental des collèges, actualisé en 2019, a mis en avant la nécessité de reconstruire le collège Auguste Mailloux au Loroux-Bottereau. Le futur établissement, d'une capacité de 28 divisions, sera reconstruit sur une parcelle directement attenante au collège actuel. L'établissement comprendra une unité d'inclusion scolaire (ULIS), des locaux destinés à l'administration, aux enseignants, un pôle santé, des locaux de maintenance ainsi que 3 logements de fonction. Des aménagements extérieurs nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de l'établissement complèteront cette reconstruction : accès, parvis, stationnement. Au total, la surface est estimée à 4 700 m² de surfaces utiles. Les anciens bâtiments seront déconstruits et désamiantés La part de l'enveloppe financière affectée aux travaux est de 14 997 100 euro(s) HT (valeur septembre 2023). La livraison du nouveau collège (bâtiment d'enseignement-phase 1) est prévue pour la rentrée 2028.
