Die Planung umfasst den Neubau eines Hangar-Gebäudes mit integriertem Sozialtrakt, zwei neuen Parkpositionen für Hubschrauber sowie einer Tankstelle. Die bestehende FATO soll baulich an die neuen gesetzlichen Vorgaben angepasst werden. Auf einem ca. 1.123 qm großen Baufeld, südlich der bestehenden Luftrettungsstation, soll ein Rettungshubschrauber des Typs H145 (Fünfblattrotor) von Airbus Helicopters - Christoph 47 - neu stationiert werden. Auf Beschluss des Ministeriums für Finanzen und Digitalisierung MV wird dieses Bauvorhaben als BIM-Pilotprojekt realisiert. Im Rahmen der Projektabwicklung ist mit dem Einsatz der folgenden BIM-spezifischen Rollen zu rechnen: BIM-Gesamtkoordination sowie BIM-Autor. Die modellbasierte Projektbearbeitung wird in den Leistungsphasen 2 - 8 nach HOAI durchgeführt.
