Udbuddet gennemføres som en konkurrencepræget dialog på baggrund af et ideoplæg. Der er tale om et samlet udbud af en Totalrådgiveraftale og en Totalentrepriseaftale, som bindes sammen af en Samarbejdsaftale. Samarbejdsmodellen indebærer, at Totalentreprenøren skal indgå i et tæt samarbejde med DTU og Totalrådgiveren om projekteringen. Projektet består i at programmere, projektere og opføre en ny bygning i hjertet af DTU Lyngby Campus.
