Der Rettungsdienst hat zusammen mit dem Fachdienst Neubau und Erweiterungsmaßnahmen bereits ein Raumprogramm entwickelt und mit den Kostenträgern abgestimmt. Es wird von einer ungefähren Bruttogrundfläche (BGF) von 2.100m² ausgegangen. Das Baugrundstück für die Rettungswache mit einer Größe von 4.115 m² befindet sich direkt neben dem neuen Delme Klinikum Delmenhorst. Das Grundstück befindet sich in Hanglage und weist einen Höhenunterschied von bis zu 3 m auf. Die Baukosten (KG 300-500) werden gemäß einer ersten Kostenannahme derzeit auf ca. 5,4 Mio.
