Ziel der Maßnahme ist die Herstellung eines zeitgemäßen, sicheren und barrierefreien Sporthallenbetriebs unter Einhaltung der geltenden öffentlich-rechtlichen Vorschriften, insbesondere in Bezug auf Brandschutz, Barrierefreiheit und energetische Anforderungen gemäß Gebäudeenergiegesetz (GEG). Die Maßnahme erfolgt überwiegend im Bestand unter Integration der vorhandenen Gebäudestrukturen, wobei konstruktive Eingriffe auf das erforderliche Maß beschränkt werden. Der Übergang zum angrenzenden Gymnasium wird in die Baumaßnahme mit integriert.
