Die Richtlinie über die Gesamtenergieeffizienz von Gebäuden (Richtlinie EU 2024/1275, im engl. Energy Perfor-mance of Buildings Directive, im Folgenden EPBD) macht neue Vorgaben zur Erstellung von Energieausweisen. Die EPBD lässt weiterhin zu, dass Energieausweise auch auf Basis von Verbrauchsmessungen berechnet werden. Allerdings führen die neuen EPBD-Anforderungen für Energieausweise dazu, dass die aktuell nach GEG anzuwendende Methode zur Erstellung von Verbrauchsausweisen nicht mehr zulässig ist.
