Mis en service il y a environ 60 ans, ce tronçon de la route nationale N13 ne répond plus aux exigences actuelles et une rénovation complète par étapes est prévue. Outre le tracé, divers ponts, passages inférieurs et supérieurs, ouvrages de soutènement ainsi que les installations d'exploitation et de sécurité, le projet comprend également la transformation de la jonction Splügen. L'objectif du projet d'entretien est de mettre le tronçon routier aux normes les plus récentes en matière de construction et de sécurité, conformément aux lois, normes, directives et manuels techniques actuels de l'OFROU. L'objet du mandat comprend les prestations de géomètre pour le maître d’ouvrage pour les phases de réalisation. La description détaillée des prestations figure dans le cahier des charges.
