Este combustible es abastecido a través de las acometidas de suministro, y debe adquirirse a través de una comercializadora previamente designada. La demanda de suministro de Gas natural es fluctuante en el tiempo, ya que está condicionada a las necesidades de calefacción y por lo tanto a la meteorología, así como al uso de los edificios.
