Die Nutzung des Kreativareals ist vielfältig geplant und speziell für die Bedürfnisse der Kreativwirtschaft der Stadt Regensburg zugeschnitten. Im Detail werden Flächen für Handwerksbetriebe, Co-Working, Büroflächen sowie wie ein Veranstaltungsbereich mit Gastronomie umgesetzt. Hierfür sind Sanierungsarbeiten am Dachstuhl sowie die schrittweise Neueindeckung des Dachs Halle 4 inkl. Anschlüssen u. Öffnungen erforderlich. Das Vorhaben wird unter anderem durch eine Förderung aus Mitteln des Europäischen Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE) im Rahmen des Operationellen Programms "Investitionen in Beschäftigung und Wachstum" Bayern 2021 - 2027 (EFRE-Bayern) finanziert.
