Trondheim municipality shall through the Smelteverks project develop a facility that efficiently solves two major municipal functions, a health and welfare centre and a secondary school that is well integrated in the neighbourhood, and exploits the site and the programme's potential to become an important meeting and target point in the district. The project shall contribute to attractive and human-friendly town development.
