Die in den 1980er Jahren errichtete Holzkonstruktion bestehend aus vertikalen Pfählen mit horizontaler Ausfachung hat altersbedingt das Ende der Standzeit erreicht. Über etwa 300 m ist es vorgesehen eine neue Ufereinfassung als kombinierte Rohrspundwand vor die bestehende Konstruktion anzuordnen.
