Seagroing on ships is considered the most important way of importation for marine introduced species, and monitoring high-risk ports will provide a much better overview than what we currently have for which species come to Norway. The estimated value of the procurement is estimated to NOK 20,000,000 - NOK 25,000,000. The Norwegian Environment Agency ́s budget limit for the monitoring programme is NOK 2,300,000 per annum.
