Die Wasserstoffversorgung soll primär den regionalen ÖPNV sowie die Abfallwirtschaft abdecken und darüber hinaus eine Betankungsmöglichkeit für weitere Nutzer ermöglichen. Bestandteil des Gesamtkonzepts ist zudem eine Trailer-Anbindung, die sowohl zur Belieferung des Standorts als auch zur Befüllung von Trailern genutzt werden kann.
