## About this tender

Die Westfälische Hochschule Gelsenkirchen (WH) plant den Neubau des "H2 Solution Lab for Hydrogen Applications". Es handelt sich um einen Forschungsneubau mit ca. 2.000 m² Grundfläche, einschließlich hochspezialisierter Wasserstofftechnik mit 1 MW H2 Leistung (Elektrolyse, Brennstoffzellenmodule, Speicher, Verdichter u.a.), und soll sowohl für Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit als auch für Demonstrations- und Transferaktivitäten genutzt werden. Zusätzlich sind Arbeitsplätze für Forschungszwecke (mit Laborelementen) sowie Büro- und Seminarräume vorgesehen. Ziel ist die Errichtung und der Betrieb des Gebäudes durch einen Privaten Partner in einer Öffentlich-privaten Partnerschaft (ÖPP). Die Vergabe wird im Rahmen eines EU-weiten Vergabeverfahrens mit vorgeschaltetem Teilnahmewettbewerb durchgeführt und soll in einem Los erfolgen.
