Ook het afsluitsysteem net voor de tunnel valt onder in tunnels. Deze opdracht is vooral essentieel om de continuïteit en robuustheid van de elektromechanische installaties in de tunnels en in de vijzelstations te garanderen. Binnen de kunstwerken die onder het beheer van TO vallen, bevinden zich diverse installaties die periodiek onderhoud vereisen. De tunneltechnieken zijn complex en omvatten verschillende technieken en systemen.
