The dilution refrigerator will be mainly in support of Tyndall National Institute's quantum transport activities, and specifically for the development of electronic qubits in e.g. semiconductor quantum dots. It will also support the development of novel quantum materials and devices. The dilution refrigerator, reaching less than 20 millikelvin in an unloaded configuration, will have to be equipped with a minimum, 3 Tesla superconducting magnet to allow probing advanced spin physics. It should also allow for sample direct and fibre based optical access. The system should be mountable/mounted on an optical table to allow easy integration with quantum optics experiments. ## CPV classification Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) Measuring instruments Instruments for checking physical characteristics Checking and testing apparatus Optical instruments Miscellaneous evaluation or testing instruments Semiconductors Source Tenders Electronic Daily (EU) · Notice 387923-2026 [View official notice](https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/387923-2026) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
