Entreprenøren skal derfor gennemføre omlægning af nødoverløbene fra de eksisterende biologiske bassiner og udløbstårnet, således at de føres uden om Lynetteholmens perimeter (herefter ”Projektet”).Formålet med Projektet er at sikre, at nødoverløbet fortsat fungerer som en passiv sikkerhedsløsning. Nødoverløb kan i dag forekomme ved ikke-forudsigelige hændelser, herunder strømafbrydelser, spjæld der går i stå i lukket position samt brud på ledninger mv.
