Planowany do budowy zbiornik przeciwpożarowy docelowo pełnił będzie funkcję nowego punktu czerpania wody w Nadleśnictwie Głusko. Ponadto będzie stanowił element krajobrazowy oraz wodopój dla zwierzyny i ptactwa.
