Die vorhandene Gebäudeorganisation mit zentralem Treppenhaus und Mittelgang wird beibehalten. Durch die Entnahme der nichttragenden Innenwände wird die Zellenstruktur aufgelöst und Großzügigkeit für jedes Apartment generiert. Das bestehende Satteldach wird zurückgebaut und durch eine vorgefertigte Holzkonstruktion als neues Vollgeschoss errichtet. Jeder Studierende verfügt über eine private Nasszelle mit Dusche und WC.
