Die Maßnahme dient der Verbesserung der barrierefreien Erschließung des Gebäudekomplexes sowie der Optimierung der Besucherführung innerhalb des Zuschauerhauses. Die vorhandenen Aufzugsanlagen bleiben von dieser Maßnahme unberührt. Die beiden neuen Aufzüge werden in einem neu zu errichtenden Stahlbeton-Fahrschacht untergebracht. Aus statischen Gründen werden die Aufzugsanlagen in zwei separaten Fahrschächten angeordnet.
