Achiziția se realizează pentru asigurarea continuității tratamentului pacienților, respectarea protocoalelor terapeutice aprobate de Ministerul Sănătății și Casa Națională de Asigurări de Sănătate; evitarea discontinuităților în aprovizionare care pot afecta evoluția clinică a pacienților.
