In addition, these soundings provide essential parameters (such as the effective temperature for ozone absorption) required to calculate and forecast the UV index for the public. RMI also acts as the official Quality Assurance/Science Activity Centre (QA/SAC) for ozonesondes within the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). The upcoming contract for the supply of measurement equipment (approx. 150 soundings per year) is divided into two lots: - Lot 1 - Ozonesondes: Procurement of specific ozonesondes. - Lot 2 - Radiosondes and interfaces: Procurement of the corresponding radiosondes and the necessary data-transfer interfaces. ## CPV classification Measuring instruments Radiosonde apparatus Source Tenders Electronic Daily (EU) · Notice 575905-2026 [View official notice](https://ted.europa.eu/en/notice/575905-2026) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
