Die NEL Gastransport GmbH ("NGT") betreibt als deutscher Fernleitungsnetzbetreiber ein Gashochdrucknetz von 440 km für Erdgas in Dimensionen von DN 150 bis DN 1400 im Geltungsbereich der Gashochdruckleitungsverordnung (GasHDrLtgV). Gemäß des Regelwerkes der DVGW sind GASCADE und NGT nach dem Arbeitsblatt GW 1200 jeweils verpflichtet, einen Bereitschaftsdienst zu organisieren.
