Auf dem aktuellen Standort der Rastanlage besteht eine Funkmastanlage, die von der Autobahn GmbH betrieben wird. Diese Mastanlage ist Teil des Tetrapolsystems, ein digitales, zellulares- Bündelfunksystem für Sprach- und Datenübertragung der Firma Airbus, was in diesem Fall den Datenaustausch der Autobahn ermöglicht. Die Umverlegung der Rastanlage verursacht einen Ersatz der Funkmastanlage auf dem neuen Standort.
