The existing units for controlling street lights currently communicate via Telenor ́s 2G network. As a result of the planned phasing-out of 2G, there is a need to replace parts of the current equipment. There are also units that use 4G/5G, and these can be relevant for further use. The aim of the procurement is to facilitate energy efficient operation of the street light installations, at the same time that the system shall be reliable and provide a good overview of the status and function.
