The improving health and wellbeing outcomes through IPSPC employment support programme will test how to increase the use of employment support as a driver of improved health and wellbeing outcomes, in order to reduce health inequalities and reduce demand on the health and social care system. It will also test the role of statutory organisations in making local systems more resilient and accessible, and the economic impacts of support those furthest from the labour market into mainstream long-term employment.
