Currently there are no in-service, cross domain (land/sea) automated, multiple loitering munitions launch systems. The benefits of such a system are that it can be deployed rapidly from either a maritime or land-based platform to prosecute targets at land and/or sea and would generate coherence across those domains. Navy Command requires the delivery of a capability concept demonstration of a modular style ‘plug and play’ loitering munition automated launch and storage POD(s) to demonstrate cross domain capabilities firing loitering munitions with the aim of UK trials.
