Staffordshire County Council is committed to working alongside Providers of all Community-Based Opportunities for Older People & Physical Disability and the VCSE sector to support and empower our communities. The Council therefore wish to meet with Providers to informally talk about: - current Day Care Services and Community-Based Opportunities in each district locality scoping need and gaps in service provision in each district locality - identifying what aspirations you have for future service delivery. The main purpose of this Market Engagement is to consider how Day Care Services and Community-Based Opportunities for Older People & Physical Disability across Staffordshire can continue to be best provided in terms of :- - geographical breakdown, to ensure appropriate service coverage - improved choice of Services on offer and accessibility to Individuals. This is a great opportunity for the Council, Providers and VCSE to work together to look at how we can:- - Build capacity in communities to support future service delivery and shape the vision for the future service - Improve and maintain individuals' health and well-being through increased independence, choice, control, dignity and quality of life. - Promote independence and enable individuals to become an active member of society and the community. - Address needs of the younger adult cohort for both high complex and lower level physical disabilities - Recognise and deliver the needs of a community.
