The PA service is intended to provide real-time passenger information, site-specific passenger safety and security (PSS) messages, and event-driven announcements, operable centrally from the Operations Control Centre (OCC) and locally by designated TSF Site Co-Ordinators. TfGM requires a cloud-hosted PA management system (with main and failover capability) integrated with an on-net estate of PA end user devices (EUDs) such as IP speakers, audio gateways, AFILs, paging stations and user clients, including the ability to interface with legacy Long Line Public Address (LLPA) systems during transition and with existing third-party systems (e.g., Cisco Unified Call Manager) as required. TfGM will undertake a competitive procurement via an Open Tender procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
