At present, these roof lights are not wind and watertight and as a result water ingression to the internal side of the building is prevalent. A recent survey carried out in October 2023 identified various failings, noting widespread issues including failed sealant, broken double glazing, lack of proper gaskets/tape, water staining and sheared pressure plate screws.
