Reletting void properties as efficiently and effectively as possible is essential in order to ensure that we optimise the supply of good quality homes to our customers and minimise rent loss that occurs whilst the property is empty.Void properties shall be inspected and a schedule of works shall be provided to the contractor to complete. Contractors will be used for the most part to complete larger, more complex voids whilst the In-house Repairs Team shall focus upon standard and minor voids.Contractors shall be provided with asbestos reports from the client where required and the client shall require a formal weekly progress report on all voids which the contractor is working on.Void work will invariably involve multi skilled works and the client shall also require the contractor to undertake multi-skilled works in tenanted properties.
