The Small Animal Cardiology Services at The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and The Roslin Institute has received funding to replace its current cardiac ultrasound machine.

As a specialist veterinary referral cardiology centre, the facility receives a high volume of cases, including cats, dogs, and sometimes exotic species. Given the diverse range of body conformations and sizes, the replacement machine must be robust and can provide exceptionally high-quality imaging. These cases range from straightforward to highly complex cardiac conditions, the functionality of a replacement machine must reflect this, with high sample rates, colour mapping, tissue Doppler imaging, strain and 3D capability.
