An independently facilitated Community of Practice (CoP) was a key component of FIRNS' original design during its first two rounds. This delivered a programme of events alongside the use of SharePoint and Teams site operated by NatureScot. While valuable connections were made, feedback indicates that grantees would benefit from continued but more targeted mentoring and peer learning support. NatureScot is looking for a supplier, possibly as a consortium, of services to provide tailored expert support to previous and current grant recipients and to contribute to evaluation of FIRNS as a programme. The contract value is less than GBP50,000 so this is not considered a 'regulated procurement' as set out in the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014.
