The system will utilise AR and/or VR to simulate real-world welding scenarios, providing an immersive training experience. It will allow students to practice without the material waste associated with traditional welding training. The AR/VR environment will provide a safe training space, reducing the risks of injuries and costs related to physical materials and equipment wear. The equipment will be installed in our Inverness campus, located at 1 Inverness Campus, Inverness IV2 5NA.
