The sites are: Brodick Landfill Site - which is situated on the Island of Arran, at the east side of Brodick, adjacent to the coastline and with farmland to the south of the site. NAC operated this site and disposed of household, commercial and industrial wastes. The site was operational from the 1960’s until the 31st of August 2006. Nethermains Landfill Site - which is situated between Irvine and Kilwinning just south of the A78. The site area within the WML boundary is approximately 11 hectares. The majority of Nethermains Landfill Site was formally agricultural land prior to landfill operations. North Ayrshire Council operated this site and disposed of household, commercial and industrial wastes. The site operated from the late1970’s to the mid-2000. The purpose of this market engagement questionnaire is to give suppliers advanced notice of the project, determine the best route to market, and to help shape the procurement process in terms of any minimum requirements set. NAC are a strong believer in early supplier involvement to ensure the success of projects. We would therefore like to encourage you to participate to ensure your feedback is captured and considered.
