Phase 1A of the MeyGen project consists of an array of three HS1000 Mk 1 tidal turbines from Andritz Hydro Hammerfest (“AHH”), each rated at 1.5MW, and one AR1500 tidal turbine from Atlantis, also rated at 1.5MW. The AHH turbines, along with each turbine’s share of the common infrastructure, are known as the AHH Project; whilst the Atlantis turbine along with its share of the common infrastructure is known as the Atlantis Project. Some Funders invested in both the AHH Project and the Atlantis Project, whilst others only invested in the AHH Project.
