The buildings have a timber frame construction supported on a single 100mm leaf of substructure concrete blockwork around the perimeter of the buildings and cross walls at approx. 1750mm centres internally to support the floor joists. External walls have timber cladding and metal sheet cladding to the roofs. Steel framing was subsequently installed to deal with roof uplift loads, which are supported on concrete pad foundations.
