These ‘bays’ protect the walls of the Waste Transfer Stations (WTS) from damage by vehicles, along with allowing for the segregation of waste streams. There are currently 2 types of legio blocks in the Stations; ‘Full blocks’ weighing 1.76 Tonne with measurements of 1.2m x 0.8m and; ‘Half blocks’ measuring 1.2m x 0.4m.
