The existing VCCS at Benbecula (BEB), Stornoway (SYY) and Wick John O’Groats (WIC) airports is legacy equipment, with critical elements now deemed obsolete and no longer supportable by the manufacturer. The equipment at these three airports is different to the other VCCS in operation at HIAL airports. HIAL is looking to replace the VCC through a competitive tender excersie.
