Pre-application surveys are used to quantify the peat resource where the restoration is to take place, determine eligibility for grant funding, and inform design of the restoration works. The surveys will also provide baseline data for future monitoring of restoration outcomes and habitat condition. The data derived from the surveys and subsequent design work may be used by the landowner or their representatives for the purposes of Peatland Code registration. Protected species surveys are required to provide data to inform restoration design and identify potential ecological constraints. Detailed methodologies are provided for both survey types alongside this SOR. ## CPV classification Survey services Environmental services Environmental issues consultancy services Environmental monitoring other than for construction Environmental indicators analysis other than for construction Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) services other than for construction Environmental planning Environmental management Environmental protection Environmental rehabilitation Source Public Contracts Scotland · Notice rls-78-SEP563699 [View official notice](https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/search/show/search_view.aspx?ID=SEP563699) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
